This body of work visually isolates moments of function and futility to reflect on concepts of absurdity.  Akin to Daniel Libeskind's "Micromega" series, architectural elements are used to deconstruct the meaning of their functionality within the context of flat geometric abstraction.  The medium of paint and large-scale physical presence was purposefully used to juxtapose the history of painting against the polished glossy forms of a more screen-like digital nature.  These contradictions are intended to leave the viewer lovingly questioning the value of painting.
